It's a lovely viewpoint of the Lough Tay Lake(also known as Guiness lake). It's literally beside the main road but we came from Ballinastoe Broadwalk side. It's easy to travel from that side to this place and the experience is really great.

We did this in May end and the weather was really really lovely. Absolutely loved it. This hike seriously really easy and everyone...

Hidden away from the better known scenic spots on the road this is the best spot you could possibly enjoy. It gets very windy and cold but the fresh air and amazing scenery is absolutely worth it. The steps up are steep enough but definitely manageable. From here you can hike to Djouce by following the railway sleepers...

Great to visit lovely scenery. Most runner wearers and dog bringers seem to have forgotten the magic ' thank you' words as you step of the walk way to let them pass. You have to step off -No way they will. Other than that this is an easy walk for people who can cover 15 k in a day...
