Amazing place, stunning view!!! The whole area is just magic. The lake is beautiful with a real unique color. I had to watch it with my eyes to believe that small rivers up there have a unique coloration of the water. It’s like Guinness beer has been running for ever. Ofcourse it’s cos of the ground morphology. However it’s very interesting to watch. No wonder why they’ve been filming there parts of famous films like “last of the Mohicans” and more. A great place to visit!!!!!!!

knocknacloghoge and Lugala are my two favourite walking routes in Ireland! The views are amazing!! If you plan a few miles in the hills make sure these are included !

This is a beautiful place to take a breath and take walk. The paths are well looked after, you will need to have a bag of energy before you start. Nice view of lough Dan. If you want to do the round walk with Knocknacloghoge paths are very difficult to find. You won't get lost, but may have to cross open land. Watch out for deer, there was...
