Wicklow Way Wines offers something truly special – this is not your typical wine tour. The winemaker’s unique approach to fruit wine turns it into a fine wine experience, with distinctive, refined flavours that stand out from anything else I’ve ever tasted. The quality of the products is outstanding, and you can really feel the passion and care that goes into every bottle. The tour and tasting were equally impressive – personal, entertaining, and full of humour. It was engaging from start to finish, and I walked away not only having had a lovely time but also learning something new and unexpected. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a fresh take on wine and a genuinely memorable experience! The wines are vegan friendly by the way.

I found out about this company through their TikTok and I’m so glad I did. The responses to some of the comments on TikTok are honestly what pushed me to book a tour, as if the wine wasn’t enough. As for the tour itself, it was packed with so much information about the wine making process and it was so cool to see first hand how the wine is made. The owner is extremely passionate about his business and the product he puts out. The wine is absolutely incredible. I wish I could get it shipped to me in the States, but the two bottles I purchased will have to hold me over until I make it back to Ireland. Do yourself a favor and book a tour!

I booked the wine tour and tasting for my wife as she loves white wines, not knowing it was berry wines! (I didn’t even know people made berry wines in Ireland). Really didn’t know what to expect but in saying that we loved the tour, hearing about the process and pain staking work and dedication that goes into making the wines. I was so surprised how great tasting the wines were. We loved all 3 flavours we tried and they went perfectly with the cheese and chocolates. Highly recommend the tour and the wine. I will definitely be buying more bottles when I see them.

I brought a group of friends to Wicklow Way Winery and we all really enjoyed our trip. Brett was really generous with his time, explaining the process in plenty of detail. The wine tastings were generous with excellent food pairings that brought out the best in each wine. The wines themselves are really delicious. Forget your memories of homemade fruit wines- these are sophisticated wines with layers of flavour. They taste clean and crisp, the intense fruit flavours are beautifully balanced with just enough acidity. I would be proud to serve these to my friends and the Strawberry Wine would be a delicious summer aperitif. The trip was a great day out in beautiful Wicklow, and the wines are really worth trying! Each of my friends who joined me on the trip has since bought the wine again-I consider that to be the best...

If I could give this no stars I would; the one star is for the cheese (which was good). Had high hopes for this honestly, but it was just being told how to make wine for two hours, step by step, in the grueling heat. No seats, even for a woman on our tour in crutches who was only accommodated halfway through. It was just a bit pathetic to be honest. The wine is sickly sweet - okay, maybe not our taste, but the set up is also wild. Four little cubes of cheese, still no chairs… very long for what it is. I appreciate this is a family business, but the tour must be updated. 6 years and no change? Not a tour of a winery - it’s an industrial...
