Milntown Estate and Gardens — Attraction in Lezayre

Everything about this beautiful place is just stunning. I can think of nothing nicer than to sit in the bright, airy cafe/restaurant while looking out over the extensive well tended & sculptured gardens. No matter the weather, you are just drawn into a place of peace. The staff are really friendly & helpful. The food is great, much of it sourced from their own stock grown in the gardens. As Vegans, my partner & I can have some difficulty find8ng places to eat (even now that Veganism is such a huge movement) but we just call perhaps the day before to let the girls know we,ll be popping in & they always do their best to accommodate. They often will be able to do an avocado dish or the mushroom flat bread can be made vegan. I'd recommend getting tickets to stroll round the gardens before or after your food, lots of beautiful & interesting plants & sculptured to take in. Lovely place, one we visit...

Returned last month for our second stay at these apartments ||Pleased again with the standard and of course the lovely gardens at the back they look into or in our case this year from the patio as we were in the ground floor one . ||Only downside was the road works and diversion taking place outside but this of course wasn’t down to them and we were advised before we arrived ||||Looking at the review before mine about the Wedding venue I can’t understand this as these 3 apartments are at the rear of the Milntown ( house) ! At no time in our stays hsve we been troubled by a family or dogs ! Only saw the owner Kezia who is very helpful Can’t see how apartments can be a Wedding Venue !!||||We will certainly return there when we next visit...
