Interesting medieval fortress from Henry VIII's reign The fort cannot be accessed, but you can look through an old iron gate to view it's interior. It's interesting to see and peer at, as much it's location as the structure itself. The coast here is beautiful.

Beautiful spot, can't be beaten on a sunny day. Take a picnic, take in the views, watch out for cetaceans, seabirds etc and stroll round the fort. Well worth a visit.

Another free activity on the Isle of Man, you can only walk around the fort but the walk is beautiful and there is an abundance of wildlife to see.

The fort is padlocked shut, but you can see through the gate, and walk round the outside. Great views of the airport and out to sea. The nearby chapel is unlocked. No interpretation boards, so if you are into the history of the features, look it up before you go. Agree with other reviews -...
