The fall leaps in three stages, into a pool hidden in a hollow. After wet weather, the roar of water can be heard on the attractive short approach track from the parking area (about 3 minutes from the car park to the falls - see below for coordinates). No parking or admission charges: open all the time.

The path leads to the top of the falls, from where some steps (sometimes muddy and slippery) take you steeply down to the edge of the pool, where there is an excellent view of the lower two leaps. There is also a Keeil (ancient chapel) nearby.

Great displays of daffodils in March/April.

If you drive there the parking lot is small, it is a 10 minutes walk, be careful when going downstairs in the waterfall, it is muddy and slippery . In spring and summer be aware of the insects . Water is very cold, but it is worthy...

An incredible spot and well worth the walk through Glen Mooar. You can also get to it via the Old Monks Road and then down the steps but where is the fun in that! Was magnificent today after...
