For nature or history lovers highly recommended to spend a day or two over. It feels like a mini holiday due to its remoteness, the sealife around it and the absence from modern amenities. Seals, countless sea birds and with a bit of luck cataceans can be seen from the coast. The beds are hostel style, showers are unavailable and TVs are not present. The local wardens of Manx Wildlife Trust are full of knowledge and friendly. The transit over can be booked with a local charter boat and is usually between 20 and 30 gbp both ways.
