Very cool spot! Did a short hike up to the site. It is amazing the history of these prehistoric sites on the island. This burial site is from between the late Neolithic and the early bronze age, so possibly around 5,000 years old. You can then go up a little higher to the WW2 bunkers. Amazing views from the top too!

It is a mystical experience going there. I recommend to go alone. Go early morning to enjoy the peace of the place, is a nice walk From port Erin train station, close to 2 miles, please take with you water, the views are Breath-taking.

The views from the circle are amazing. The circle itself is well preserved and in a fenced area. Note...access is from parking spaces on a single track road up a fairly steep hill with brambles and is very slippy when wet.

An intriguing site of historic significance but somewhat less imposing than many of the photos on the internet might lead you to expect.

The views from the site across the surrounding landscape are unquestionably impressive but the monument itself would certainly.benefit from some information boards to add some context to the historic importance...

Came up here on a walk between Port St. Mary and Port Erin via Spanish Head and The Sound. Could not believe that on such a glorious day, I could sit amongst the stones and have the whole place (it felt like the whole island) to myself. Rare to find such archaeological curiosities...
