Nitsanim Beach — Attraction in Ashdod

Most certainly not my favourite beach any more. We used to go there all the time a few years back but on my last visit, we found it to be very dirty with lots of bits of rubbish on the sand. There were a few ATV's racing around in the parking lot and at one point on the beach which made it rather unpleasant for all in the area with plumes of sand...

Love this place.... Best beach in Israel!!! Wide and open, not bothered by lifeguards yelling and chastising the visitors, but you feel every time they call the attention of someone is really out of concern for their safety... Love the open space, the variety of people, the way it is G-dly made that you can go way inside and still have your feet...

The beach is one of the nicest in Israel. Don't order food there. Takes ages. Coffee is cold since they have problems with electricity. Life guards are top. Never go to swim without life guards on duty the current is dangerous. All in all superbe. Cold drinks and snackes are ok, avoid anything warm / hot at...
