Very nice beach. Has a whole section for showering and two bathrooms. Huge area to play in the sand. Many covered area to sit when it is very hot. Food area which wasn't open but is probably not in season except in the summer. Also, two playgrounds where you can also use the bars to get a good calisthenics workout in. Plus they have actual parellel dip bars, one short, one high to do things on, plus a monkey bars style piece. Overall very nice, clean, beautiful place. Read moreLarge, lovely view. Fantastic waves. Very packed. Not very friendly though. Kids went missing (we found them) - after 20 minutes of searching we asked the lifeguard booth for help. The manager, with a white beard and black kippah, said to me, get out of here! Go to the kotel! I pleaded with him and the other lifeguards to call out the names of 2 boys, aged 7 and 8, and his reply was to put music over the loudspeaker and dance whole smiling rudely at me. Someone found one of the boys, called the police, and then we found the other.

Read moreWe came to the "separate beach" where they have men's and women's swim on alternate days of the week. It was women's swim day so my wife and daughter proceeded to the private swim area and my son and I went to the deserted public area. The waves were strong and weather great. I was disappointed that they had a male lifeguard for women's swim as well as male workers, not to mention that they left a huge door open so anyone could see in.
