We were there one night before the holiday. The park was full of tents, cars and people.
Positive moments: a lot of trees and shadow enough tables for picnic enough place for parking Nice pools, especially in the morning, when the water is really clean
Negative: the dirtiest toilets and showers I've ever seen in parks. There was no serious cleaning for 24 hours. Not enough toilets and showers - the biggest problem, understanding type of the park! no locations with drinking water! If you need it - buy it in the store. Abnormal situation for israel! too hard to find level ground for the tent. 80% of the park inclined towards the pools. noisy service by cleaning garbage tins. It looks like the capacity limit is too high. Lack of empty places in...
Read moreMagical place especially on a hot day!!! Large area for picnic/camping. 3 pools. The kiddies pool has shade. Bathrooms were not perfect, although cleaned all the time, they were old and felt not too clean during this time of the summer when people are on vacation and covid-19 is in the air. Must say that soap was available as well as alchogel outside the bathrooms. Electricity only around the main building area so charging your phone or using anything electronic would be a walking distance from your camping site. Had a free pump for the matresses. Available all day. There is a kiosk with breakfasts and drinks. Overall- very nice and...
Read moreCamping in Israel is not like in the movies. It’s hot. No woods. No real campfires or S’mores or fishing. That’s why it’s important to camp near water. Ganei Chuga offers a great camp ground for camping because it’s beautifully situated near pools of fresh water. The area is especially hot geographically so you spend the entire day in the water cooling off. Perfect for children. Especially toddlers as one of the pools is super shallow with slides for them. Bathrooms and grounds were reasonably clean. The prices are in my opinion too high. They are priced as if this is a water park...
