Beautiful place to call home! But whats up with the disrespectful images. Is there anything to debate? Yashua and the disciples were absolutely not white! We have bibleS published, so scriptual evidence and archaeological data on real Hebrew Israelites! Whats the dam problem with if any , at least realistic looking images of the people. Their ALWAYS preaching color dont matter! But when it comes to Yashua it does. They HATE the truth so run with a fake image! He was a color combination like tan(saphardi) and Yahoodim, or Hebrew Israelites (black) (example:feet like burnt brass). And his hair is kinky(hair was woolly).King soloman sings about it! Why is it that the most advanced learning rabbis know the true races of the people in the scriptures, but dummy so called followers of Yashua don't. They should try starting with the correct NAME. YA-shua(from the house of David ha malech) so BEN DAVID! Whats the problem with the truth. If Jesus means so much to these people y cant they learn Hebrew? Isn't your soul worth it. If u REALLY believe u can sin indiscriminately ,and because God made come true the words he spoke to Isaiah in chapter 53 through Yashua, you are in for a HUGE disappointment. U should've studied Torah. Or the scriptures for your self enstead of following the blind into...
Read moreThe town of Jesus, Capharnaum it is a Holy Land, State of Israel, on a journey of faith. And house of peter, You can see the Sea of Galilee on the edge of town and the ruins of many other parts of the small town excavated so far. And It's a historic town on the Sea of Galilee now preserved for tourists. Also amazing environment and capharnaum very important to our catholic people because of Jesus was born in Bethlehem and grew up in Nazareth. After being baptized by John the Baptist in the Jordan River, Jesus returned to Nazareth. The people of Nazareth rejected him and so he moved to Capernaum. Jesus visited Jerusalem many times and that is where he was crucified, buried and resurrected, but the time Jesus spent in Jerusalem was short. Capernaum is where Jesus lived as he carried out his mission. And Jesus chose his twelve disciples in this area on the northern shore of the Sea of Galilee. Five of them – Peter, Andrew, James, John and Matthew – came directly from Capernaum and all the other disciples came from the Galilee area. The only one who didn’t come from the Galilee was Judas Iscariot, who would later betray Jesus. Actually we need to save this place and try to visit and take a good...
Read moreIf you're a history buff or a religious person looking to immerse yourself in the holy land, then you must visit Cafarnaum, the city of Jesus! I recently visited this ancient city and I was blown away by the St. Peters Church, which was built on top of the ruins from the Jesus era.
The architectural feat of supporting the church with pillars without touching the ground is impressive! It's also fascinating to see a glass altar inside the church, which adds a modern touch to this ancient site. The view of the Galileia sea, where Jesus walked, is simply breathtaking. Standing there, looking out over the sea, I felt a profound sense of spirituality and connection to the past.
What I appreciated most about Cafarnaum was that it felt less commercialized than other equivalent sites in Israel. It was refreshing to visit a historical and religious site without being bombarded with gift shops and tourist traps. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to experience a unique blend of history, spirituality, and...
