קטופותי — Attraction in Emek Izrael Regional Council

Most patches are empty and you need to make A LOT of effort to even find something for picking. Grapes are some semi-wild variety, most of it either still green, or totally dried and the rest barely edible with thick skin and a lot of seeds. Grape bushes are clearly not kept well, some of them are falling over and its hard to find fruit. When we arrived with 4x adults and 4x 2-3yr old kids, we were allowed to pick cucumbers, zucchini, eggplant and radishes (and grapes-see above). Not a very exciting selection and the overall experience is made worse by having to spend A LOT of time to even find something to pick. Kids got bored after 10 minutes and the most exciting attraction was an old tractor. הרעיון של ללכת לשדה, לקחת סל ולקטוף וגם לנשנש ירקות הוא מקסים. אבל ההרגשה פה היא שהחמדנות גברה על הקסם. 45 ש''ח לאדם, ילד או מבוגר+ עוד כסף על סל זה לא מחיר שמרגיש שמתומחר נכון (במיוחד לאור התור הארוך וכמות האנשים שהיו במקום). הגענו בבוקר בערך ב9 וחצי שני הורים ושני ילדים (על ילד מתחת לגיל שנתיים לא שילמנו) 3*45 ש''ח, לקחנו גם סל גדול 30 ש''ח. כשהגענו כבר אמרו לנו שתותים כבר אין ועגבניות עוד יש. בכל זאת נכנסנו לחממת התותים וקטפנו 3 תותים אדומים אחרונים שהיו שם. משם לחממת העגבניות שם היו בעיקר עגבניות ירוקות ובהירות- הילדים נהנו מאוד בחלק הזה. משם המשכנו לחלקות הפתוחות. השילוט במקום לא היה מספק ובחל מהחלקות לא ידענו באיזה ירק מדובר. בחלק לא ידענו איזה חלק מהשדה מותר לקטוף ואיזה עדיין קטנים (הקטנים היו קודם ורק כשהתקדמנו למרכז החלקה ראינו שהירקות שם גדולים יותר). יש צל מרכזי עם מעט מקומות ישיבה ופינת יצירה קטנה שמרגישה יותר כמו סרט נע של הכנת עציץ קטן (וחמוד). חסר מקומות עם שתייה, חסר שילוט, חסר הסבר אם צריך לשטוף את הירקות או לא והאם השדה מרוסס או לא, חסר סכין שיעזור לקטוף את הירקות (חלק מהאנשים קיבלו וחלק-ביניהם אנחנו לא קיבלו) ובעיקר חסר לי (סליחה שאני חוזר על זה אבל באמת מרגיש כמו בצע)- תמחור נכון של החוויה. סדרו את המקום, קחו פחות מילדים, תנו לכל אדם שנכנס סל קטן כחלק ממחיר הכניסה (אם מישהו רוצה סל גדול בקשו כסף אבל לא 30 ש''ח זה לא עולה ככה בסופר הכי יקר ולא צריך לעלות ככה גם אצלכם), צרו גימיק של סל עם לוגו ופרטים שלכם ותנו את הסל מתנה- ככה גם תקבלו פרסום חינם מאנשים שרואים את הסל אצל...

We had a great experience here. We called at the last minute as we were in the area and they were able to squeeze us in even though there was a large group. We expected to be left to ourselves with everything going on but they really took care of us and gave the kids full explanations about everything.
