Sarig Estate winery — Attraction in Emek Izrael Regional Council

We had a group of 15 Americans and internationals visiting for our tasting. It was great to meet the Sarig family, who were welcoming and friendly. They shared a lot of interesting information about Israeli wine-making, the vineyard’s history, and the different wines they produce. The wines were excellent, and we appreciated the relaxed, down-to-earth atmosphere.

ביקרנו היום ביקב סריג בקיבוץ מרחביה סמוך לעפולה. אירח אותנו ד"ר פיני סריג מומחה לגפן, אביו של היינן אמיר. היקב נמצא בלב המשק המשפחתי, חווית האירוח מאוד אינטימית ומיוחדת. טעמנו את הרוזה, מרסלאן, GSM, טנאט, גראפה,ג׳ין וערק. במהלך הטעימות שוחחנו רבות על יין, הסיפור של היקב ולמדנו כי פיני היה הראשון להביא לארצינו את המרסלאן והטנאט. רכשנו את הרוזה והמרסלאן ב50 ש"ח לבקבוק והטנאט ב100 ש"ח לבקבוק. תמחור שניתן להגדיר כהרבה יותר מהוגן, ובנוסף אציין שהטעימות היו ללא עלות. יש לציין שהייקב שם דגש על יין לכן לא תמצאו תפריט אוכל או גבינות, אך נהננו מלחם מחמצת נהדר שאופה אשתו של פיני מלווה בשמן...
