Indie Park — Attraction in Galil Elyon Regional Council

This place feels like one big outdoor arcade. There are different things to do like: jumping castles, ping-pong tables, pool tables, climbing wall, basketball, archery, small zip line and some other things. There is an art workshop for kids to make from pinecones and recycled materials. There is lots of shade, and tables and chairs. You can buy food here. We basically parked our stuff at one of the tables and went off to do things. All the things I mentioned above would be more engaging for I would say- up to 12 year old kids. But my kids are older, and after about 15 minutes of that, they declared that they have had enough. You also get to go on a canoe or SUP or pabble boat, which is nice, especially on a hot day. That part was lots of fun. My kids were excited about the bike ride option. But the bikes are poorly maintained, and lot of them don't have air in their tiers. I'm giving the place 3 stars because my kids are age 9-17, and most of the stuff wasn't relevant for them, even though it looked like it should be from the advertising. Especially the canoe (which was fun) and the bike ride (which was not good). I can see how a family with younger children could have a good time here for at least half a day. I must say that the entry is pretty expensive, so if you have older children who would only be interested in the canoes, I would go...

We had a great day here with our kids aged 3 to 7. The place is modest in size, but there is plenty to explore and do to spend 4-5 hours. Being small, it isn't at all exhausting for the parents either!

We especially liked the climbing wall and boat trip on the river Jordan (all included on the price). The entire place is in the forest meaning shade, with sprinklers cooling things down even further - perfect for the 40 degree August heat!

The only complaint we had was that the arts and crafts area needs more staff. There are hot glue guns left lying around completely unsurpervised. Our daughter grabbed one before we noticed they were there and burnt her finger badly.
