One of the 3 rivers that become the Jordan River The Jordan river is actually the result of 3 rivers (Nahal) connecting into one: This one, Nahal Snir (known also as Hasbani River), Nahal Hermon (Banyas) and Nahal Dan (El Lidani) These 3 rivers have each their Natural Reserve and Park. I have reviewed the 2 other ones here as well and I strongly recommend that in winter, January or February, or at least after a heavy rain you take your kids and drive up North to see these 3 reserves. Read moreMy favorite place in this country. It’s so beautiful and unexpected. You can walk along a large stretch of the river bank hopping on rocks and tree branches. Swimming is allowed in some areas. Don’t stick to the beginning of the river access in the park. Keep walking down the river and soon you will be away from people and just around nature. There’s a path that takes you back to the parking lot at the end of the river bank.
The clerk in the front that allows you in after you pay is very rude. There was a line of over 20 cars trying to go inside and she was purposely asking unnecessary information. She had no care that she was holding back...
