I recently had the awesome opportunity to tackle a stretch of the Shvil - the National Israel Trail, and man, was it an experience to remember! The landscape, the vibes, and the challenge itself were all top-notch, but what really made this journey standout? The crew from Walkabout Love.

Let’s start with the trail itself: the Shvil is not just a hike; it’s a journey through time, landscapes, and cultures. Every twist and turn in the path offers something new – whether it's a breathtaking vista, an ancient site, or just the serenity of the desert. No question was too silly, no request too big, and they constantly went out of their way to ensure everyone was having a good time.

But it wasn’t just about the physical hike. The spirit during our time together was palpable. Evenings at the campsite were filled with laughter, shared stories, and the kind of camaraderie that's hard to find in our everyday, busy lives. The Walkabout Love team didn’t just lead us; they bonded with us, and it felt like we were all in this adventure together.

שלום לכולם. שמי שאול, בן 48 ואב, בין היתר, לאלון (17.9) ודור (14.9). לפני כארבע שנים התוודעתי לרע ואולגה המקסימים ולפרוייקט הייחודי שלהם (זה כבר די מפעל חיים קטן המשנה אורחות חיים...) להצעיד יחדיו, ישראלים ותיירים, צעירות וצעירים, מבוגרים ואפילו ילדים (כמו ילדיי וחבריהם אותם הדבקנו בחיידק) כקבוצה בה יש גרעין ההולך את כל השביל ואליו מצטרפים, במקטעים שונים לבחירה חופשית, כל מי שרוצה טעימה מהשביל, טעימה מישראל או טעימה מהחברותא המיוחדת הנוצרת על השביל כאשר צועדים בו מס' ימים ומתנתקים מהשגרה. אנחנו כבר עשינו יחד, מס' פעמים, את כל מקטעי הדרום וחלקם אפילו פעמיים. כל פעם יצאנו לשישה ימים. ובדגש על המדבר המאתגר את מי שלא קליל כאיילה, וזורם כנוצה ויש לו צרכים ורצון לסיוע לוגיסטי משמעותי כמו גם לחברה ביום ובלילה. עבורי (אבא לשני בנים המעוניין להכיר איתם יחד את ישראל ברגליים) החיבור לקבוצה היה מיידי וקסום. רע ואולגה סובלניים, קשובים, זורמים ומאפשרים. היכולת הלוגיסטית שפיתחו כמו גם האתר הידידותי והקשר הטלפוני איתם מאפשרים גמישות, תחושת ביטחון, דרך נפלאה לקבל את הלוגיסטיקה הנדרשת על כלל הצרכים מבלי לסחוב אותם על הגב, את הידיעה שאם קורה משהו יש על מי לסמוך, יש למי להצטרף בעת קושי לעשות את יום המחרת ואז מקבלים סיוע בהקפצה ונחים יום אחד וכו' הימים קשים אך אפשריים הן לי והן לבניי. ניתן, בצורה זו, להתחיל עם הילדים כבר מגיל 9 או 10 בהתאם ליכולת בסיסית ואהבה ראשונית את הטבע והצעידה. הידיעה שאתה מגיע בכל ערב למדורה, מזרונים, מים זורמים, עמדת טעינה, תיק גב שלך ובו צ'ופרים המתאימים לך ולילדיך מעבר לכל השותפות בהכנת האוכל המשותף, הכוכבים , השיחות והמנגינות, כל אלה בצירוף מלווה או שניים מקצועיים בכל ערב ולצד מטיילי הגרעין הופכים את השבוע לקסום, ייחודי, בלתי נשכח. חוויה מטורפת ומומלצת לצעירות המחפשות ביטחון ולוגיסטיקה על השביל ובעיקר בחלקו המדברי ולמשפחות עם ילדים אוהבי לכת המעוניינים בריגוש ואינטימיות הקשים להשגה בעולמנו הממוסך...

רע ואולגה יישר כוח ענק!!! המון הצלחה גם בעשור השני על השביל ניצחתם את השיטה ואפשרתם לכל כך הרבה...
