Long story short: the place is recommended!
We paid around 70 NIS for a platter of cheese which were based on goat milk. Included with cheese platter we got to sample the different types of wine that the winery produces, with no forseeable limit to the amount of types that we could sample.
We also got a couple of empanadas, for around 53 NIS, which were delicious. They come with some yogurt that you can add, if you really want to. As a South American at heart, I kinda missed having some chimichurri next to the empanadas.
The service was very friendly, and while it wasn't very fast (the winery tends to attract a large amount of customers), it was amicable and patient.
As a side note, they have the cutest Golden Retriever, which likes to say hello, personally, to the customers.
The prices are fair and we ended up buying a bottle of their Trio blend, for around 80+ NIS.
There's some parking nearby, but even if it's taken, you can walk for less than 4 minutes to one of the other parking areas nearby.

נפילה !! מגיעים מהדרום. כל פעם שאנחנו ברמת הגולן מקפידים להיכנס ליקב פלטר, במיוחד בגלל האוירה והקסם. היום הגענו במיוחד מבאר שבע. הכל השתנה, ממש לרעה... לקחנו פלטת גבינות וטעימות לזוג. הלחם היה יבש... הגבינות פשוטות, ברמה של סופר... תמיד היו מזרימים יין ללא הפסקה, אפילו לא היינו מספיקים לסיים... הפעם, אחרי הכוס הראשונה עברה כחצי שעה יבשה, שבה כמעט סיימנו את הגבינות והלחם היבש. רק אחרי שהערנו הגיעה הכוס השניה. רמזנו שנרצה להגביר את הקצב אבל לא ממש התייחסו. חשבנו שאולי זו המדיניות החדשה, אבל אז שמנו לב שכל השולחנות ליד, שהכירו אישית את המוזגת קיבלו הזרמה של טעימות בקצב מטורף, ואפילו לא הספיקו לסיים. בזמן שהמוזגת חלפה על פני הכוסות הריקות שלנו היא התחבקה ומזגה לחברים ליד מימין ומשמאל. כולל צ'ופרים לשולחן של ריבות ועוגות. בקיצור, אחרי המון ביקורים מדהימים, הביקור האחרון היה כנראה האחרון בהחלט. חבל שבזמן מלחמה, עסקים בצפון, שספגו מכה קשה, עדיין לוקחים לקוחות שמגיעים מרחוק כמובנים מאליהם. אנחנו לא...

We had a wonderful visit to Pelter Winery on October 4th 2025. Tucked away in Kibbutz Ein Zivan, the winery perfectly blends a modern industrial feel with a rustic charm. The main hall features massive steel tanks, but the real gem is the beautifully cool barrel room, perfect for aging their wines.
The outdoor seating area is spacious and relaxing, offering a perfect spot to enjoy a tasting. We opted for a flight of their wines accompanied by a well-curated cheese plate. The quality of the wine is exceptional, clearly a product of expert craftsmanship. As a photographer, I found the setting, with the rows of oak barrels and the stunning Golan scenery, to be incredibly picturesque.
Be aware, this is a premium winery with prices that reflect its high-end quality. However, for a special experience and some of the best wine in the region, it is absolutely worth it....
