Herzliya Park — Attraction in Herzliya

Hands down one of the best attractions in Herzliya, and amongst the best urban parks in Israel. Large, diverse, always full but with plenty of personal space. Lots of parking, easily accessible from the train as well. It hosts one really nice and very popular cafe at the southern end (close to Shiv'at HaKokhavim), and another bar/cafe at the northern part. Occasionally hosts large concerts at the amphitheater. Has many exterior sports facilities, as well as biking and running lanes. On the north-western part of the park there is a large water reservoir in which many birds and amphibians live and nest, and an observation deck to watch them. There's a small duck pond and a huge kids' park with very high slides, omega, and other activities. Very nice park. A lot of things to do. There are special running and cycling roads, many exercise machines, a stage for concerts, rope and slides structure and many more. Some of the slides don't work which is a bit sad. There's also a special area for little kids to play in. A restaurant is also available. A bit pricey but very nice. There is also a big area for BBQ and grilling. As I remember, there is a concert every Saturday that occurs in the park. Usually very nice concerts. A lot of parking near by, and the mall is very close too. I spent my childhood there and have nothing but...
