Great place to park and walk into the forest. It has loads of space to have a barbeque, very beautiful and picturesque. We tracked the whole day away. Absolutely stunning in the winter. Do not step on flowers! They are protected.

The contact with nature it's relaxing in this park. However, if you have a chance, go in-between days of the week and avoiding Shabbat time. Many young men with their motorcycle were annoying experience.

יער בן שמן זה כנראה היער הכי גדול בארץ למסלולי אופניים היינו קבוצה של 15 רוכבים עשינו את המסלול המעגלי הכחול הרצל. הוא מתחיל בכניסה ליער בן שמן מצפה מודיעין אורכו 10 קילומטר עם תוספת של קילומטר טכני המסלול הוא לרוכבים מתחילים בגלל שהיינו קבוצה גדולה עם כל העצירות של הפנצרים זה לקח בערך שלוש שעות אחרי שסיימנו את המסלול מאותה נקודת התחלה יש גם מסלול ירוק על שם סובב תל חדיד מעגלי שהוא עשרה קילומטר והוא מסלול יותר טכני ומיועד לרוכבים יותר מיומנים למסלול הזה יצטרפו רק הרוכבים הטובים זה לקח בערך שעה וחצי המסלול עובר באזור הצפוני של יער בן שמן אחרי כביש 443

Huge place and endless small paths to explore. Easy access and parking. Family friendly, BBQ and picnic friendly. Great nature escape to go. Much less people during the week.

Beautiful nature. The roads inside the forest are not paved, expect large pot holes. Nice hiking and off-road biking trails. Picnic areas are available. Keep nature clean.

יער מרווח ויפה במרכז הארץ, בחורף יש הרבה יותר צמחיה ולכן מומלץ מאוד לבקר כאן בעיקר בחודשי נובמבר-מאי כאשר יש צמחייה ופריחה. יש המון מקומות מסודרים עם שולחנות ומקום למנגלים. בחורף היער יכול להתאים לחובבי איסוף פטריות-אבל חשוב להגיע מוקדם בבוקר. יער נפלא במרחק של חצי שעה מגוש דן! קצת עצוב שהיער מלוכלך מאוד אבל זה כבר תלוי בנו, המבקרים-בבקשה תאספו את האשפה אחריכם ותזרקו לפחי אשפה גדולים המפוזרים ברחבי היער. חשוב לציין שאין הרבה שירותים ביער זה ככה שתהיו מוכנים להתפנות בטבע, במקרה הצורך(הגיוני בסהכ-זה יער..).
