Located along the primary causeways of the Southern Sharon, this easy to access recreation area is abundant with hiking/bicycle trails. Few remarks: 1. The park is downright tiny, miniscule, microscopic on any scale. At the site's entrance it is proudly indicated that "the park is the largest in its kind nationwide". In reality, it's far from even small, let alone "the largest" ... It's nice, cosy, but not big. You can easily circumvent it in 10 min. by walking along its lake. 2. Something not uncommon in Israel but...HEY, it's AN ECOLOGICAL SITE!!! The garbage is VIRTUALLY EVERYWHERE! Plastic wrappings, diapers, facial masks, disposable dishes, bags, paint canisters-YOU NAME IT, are junked everywhere, "festooning" every park's corner, endangering both wildlife and human health. In the lake alone my sons have spotted 15 plastic items in no time. How many of them are hidden from the untrained eye? Can't we just enforce the law and order on this infinitesimally small patch of terrain? It's such a disgrace...too bad there is no education and enforcement effort to discourage such a grave misconduct. 3. The 4x4 ATV's - (strictly forbidden in the park) were roaming the park freely, unhindered by police or park authorities. They have almost bumped into us, with their polluting engines roaring up, scaring off birds, children, bicycle riders...polluting air, soil and giving NO DAMN about the law!!! I called the police but they didn't show up. A lawlessness in...

Read moreA great place for Karens to picnic with their families on a Saturday! The 🦆🦆 🦆 and 🦦🦦 in the lake were pretty neat.
Otherwise, it's full of trash that's piled by loads of basic families with their loud, boundary-missing, toddlers, so it's a danger to let your pooch off the leash + generally not a great experience.
Maybe it gets better if you go deeper in the park, by the mount. IDK... In the end, this wasn't my...
