On the bright side, this beach has plenty of free parking and the lake is very nice (although you are not allowed to swim in it because there is no lifeguard in the lake and just last week a baby drowned there). The lake is 100 meters from the sea. It is a sweet water lake from rains that accuulate from the Zikim stream during winter. There is a nice restaurant with artifical grass arround it. On the down side, the sea is vert very dirty. I think the dirt is drifting north from the Gaza strip. The sea is full of nylon bags and all kinds of food wrappings. There are no change rooms, only toilets which are discugsting during the peak in July August. There are only 4 showers, outside and you have to stand in line most of the time to get to them. The sea itself can be very rough, since there are no wavebreaks. During winter the place is lovely, I recommend taking a walk around the lake. During summer, I would not reccomend.
