A really great place to spend a good couple of hours at. When we arrived the field was overgrown so it was hard to see the small yellow signs for the farm. It really seems like you are in the wrong place but then you hear the birds! The staff is great and friendly. They love the birds and kids. There are bunnies, ferrets, guinea pigs, peacocks, chickens, pheasants, pigeons, ducks, and all kids of parrots for sale. They have a store where you can buy everything you'll need to care for them. The petting area was so cool to hold all sorts of birds. They have an incubator that you can see the birds in various stages of hatching. There's a small playground and you can create things in clay. There are three additional sections of animals. An enclosure section with various birds and hatching boxes. A petting zoo type area where you can feed goats, ducks and other birds. We were able to go in to feed the pigeons and collect eggs.
It's a farm, it's going to be dirty. My kids had a blast and can't...
ย ย ย Read moreI would recommand that you stay away from this place and here is why: Insane price tag, for one adult its 40โช. This place has so little to offer. you have the parrots (i will talk about them sepretly) A rench filled with ducks and pecocks, And few rabbits and hamsters that you can pet.
Now this is the main reson that you should not give them your money:
The poor condition of these guys(parrots) is really really bad, now for those of you who want to buy a small parrot go for it, but not in this place, as when you buy the small once the big parrots suffer, as this is how this place stays afloat(Also the amount of money they want is really really high). They are there with verly little care for their diet(nuts and seed) The amount of space a galah gets there is the same space a cocktil gets, shame. Cages are full of rust, and the way the big parrots look is bad which means bad living...
ย ย ย Read moreKfar Hess Parrot Farm is a lovely place and I highly recommend visiting! We intended to go last summer but didn't get around to it. Luckily, we were able to go today and boy was it worth it! Of all the animal parks around Israel, I'd say Kfar Hess Parrot Farm offers the most natural and enjoyable way to interact with the animals. You can hold and feed birds of all shapes, colors and sizes. There's a lovely, well maintained petting zoo area for the kids. They have guinea pigs, bunnies, chicks and turtles for the kids to hold and pet. There's a 'safari' area where you can feed peacocks, goats, ducks and roosters. Of course, while they're all running around you. The grounds are clean but keep in mind that there's a lot of sand, so be sure to wear closed shoes. All in all, the Kfar Hess Parrot Farm is an enjoyable experience for people of all...
