Read moreOne of the oldest yet preserve fortress in Israel. Has a great view over the area . A 5 minute clime to the tower will revile a view from Haifa to the north point ( Rosh Hanikra). Near by there is a good winery , and a brewer (sharing the same building). Best time to visit is in the weekend at Friday, when the near by brewer is open, the view is magnificent. The fortress is old and has it atmosphere . I suggest going first to the fortress and then fortress tower. There is also an "escape room" in it which i never tried. Read how it was occupy by Kobli Han ( nice story - which is almost taken out of a comics book, but a true one)....
