The Winter Lake Park is composed of two parts. The main part is a recreation area all year around, where people and families can stroll, have a picnic and children can play. It is surrounded by a nature reserve where nature lovers can hike and see the vegetation. This part is especially popular in February when the Red Irus is flowering. Across this park is the Irus Reserve, and the two can be combined to one visit. You don't have to move the car as they are a short walking distance apart. It can also be reached by bus. I don't recommend the place in the hot summer months because there is almost no shade.
