Lagoon Beach — Attraction in Netanya

Generally, good beach with open water. But... weak maintenance: Broken sports equipment is not exchanged during few months, despite of opened calls to municipal Sports dept. The basic subject in every beach, the sand, has a very low quality- there are lot of sharp stones of different sizes, so you have to be very careful to back home with a safe foots. Finally, it must be filtered and cleaned! Showers at the right beach part are not functioning at least 3 years, from pre-"corona" times, sinse building of a waves brakers was started, although this zone is open for visitors. Why changing (dressing) room is missing on the beach?. Thanks for constructing few shadow "mushrooms", now much better, but still not enought - population is growing... Water quality: filtration station allocated just on the site, sometimes pollutes liquids+... from the city canalization. I can evidence that last 2 years it...

Lifeguard on duty. Free carpark nearby. A quiet beach, not crowded but still only 2 or 3 kilometres from centre of netanya. Other beaches in netanya tend to be much more crowded. There's a (very) small shop selling ice cream and drinks. But a 4 or 5 minute walk away there's a good makolet. And now the big plus.... swimming in the Med. At this time of year the water is...

Blue Flag sandy beach in Netanya. Unfortunately, doesn't allow to the Blue Flag conditions. Showers and foot washing do not work, WC was closed within whole the day on June 14, 2017. If you want to change clothes, you have go to WC, because no dressing cabins...
