Tropical Garden — Attraction in Tel-Aviv

Beautifully nature's reserve/garden area!! This is one of the only actual tropical areas to be viewed in Israel!! We do share alot of palm trees around the country but this garden is a magical place for all kinds of nature to be viewed and photographed! Amazing photos and scenery! Was able to hear animals all along the way and even saw a small baby Tigar if my eyes didn't trick me! There's animals here and there U possibly able to see but mostly hiding, but best tropical place for nature photography in Israel and perfect place for a walk and wonder!...

A tropical jungle hidden inside the Yarcon Park. Magical place to walk around and just admire the beauty of nature. Large area of tropical plants. Take your time and really look at the trees. הגן הטרופי הוקם בשנות ה-70 על שטח של כ – 20 דונם וכולל מאות סוגים של צמחים טרופיים. הצמחים הטרופיים זקוקים ללחות תמידית ולהגנה מפני רוחות החורף.*

בגן צמחים טרופיים, שבילי הליכה, בריכות מים לדגים, לעופות ולצמחי מים. מרבית צמחי הגן הגיעו מאזורים טרופיים, המאופיינים בטמפרטורה ובלחות גבוהות וקבועות כל ימות השנה. תנאי גידול אלה מאפשרים התפתחות יער רב שכבתי, צפוף ועשיר במיני צמחים ובו עצים גבוהים ירוקי עד, עצים נמוכים, שיחים, מטפסים ואפיפיטים (צמחים הגדלים על גזעים או ענפים של צמחים אחרים אך אינם טפילים ואינם ניזונים מהם). הלחות הגבוהה מושגת על ידי השקייה תכופה וההגנה מפגעי מזג האויר ועל ידי סככות צל ועצים גבוהים. זו הסיבה שתמיד נעים לטייל כאן.*
