Berenice Winery & Hotel — Attraction in Tiberias

This was an amazing find, in the heart of Tiberias, yet so private, quiet and peaceful. It was under a 10 minute walk to the Promenade/Lake and also just a five minute walk from the central bus station. They did a beautiful job refurbishing the old villa and rooms, but maintaining all the original charm. We loved that it belonged to Estee's grandmother, with her family pictures still hanging on the walls. You could see it was lovingly updated rand cared for. The villa has a ton of space, including two beautiful full bathrooms, a dining room a full kitchen, and direct access to the dipping pool. The beds/ duvets were super comfortable, even the spare couches/pull out beds were of a high quality. Everyone slept great. We didn't realize we would have access to the "lobby" which was a huge indoor sitting area/kitchen. It was perfect for serving meals to our family gathering of 15. ||||The outside courtyard was a bonus for hanging out, loved the ping pong table. next to Rambam’s tomb. We sated in the Garden suite which was a rather large room with king sized bed, separate bathroom, and shower. While the room was nice, I think you go here for the hospitality. They have a large courtyard with a winery tasting room and small pool. Unfortunately, we came on a day no other guest were there. Arrived late and had to leave the next morning, so missed most of the fun, But the owners were so nice and accommodation.
