Parco Naturale Monte Corno — Attraction in Überetsch-Unterland - Oltradige-Bassa Atesina

Great wild area near Val di Fiemme. Lots of firs, pines (on the Italian side), animals including deers, foxes, hawks and so on. You'll find a few villages, in which people still live intimately bound with nature, being mostly farmers, loggers and small artisans. In Altrei and Truden there are some hotels and B&B, and a few bars, while in the woods and on mountains some huts cater to tourists...

Stunningly beautiful trails which are well marked and offer a good variety of landscapes. The weather changes quickly here particularly due to the vast altitude changes during the hike. Allora sono forse un po cattivo nel giudizio, ma dopo aver ricevuto indicazioni al punto informazioni del paese (molto carino ma con 2 soli posti auto!!! Occupati) siamo andati ad un capiente parcheggio da cui partivano i sentieri. Dopo aver percorso una strada forestale con una notevole pendenza ed una seconda ancora più pendente ... siamo giunti ad un sentiero che costeggiava un burrone una cengia... avendo avuto esperienze in passato e non sapendo lo stato di manutenzione del sentiero, ed avendo con noi due bambine ho preferito tornare sulla strada forestale e fare picnic lontano dal punto di arrivo (mai raggiunto). Sulla carta il parco è notevole, ma le cartine "aeree" schiacciano il percorso sfalsando distanze. Suggerisco una scrittura delle guide del parco anche nell'ottica di chi ha bambini piccoli. Probabilmente se fossimo stati tutti adulti allenati avremmo avuto...
