🇮🇹Vado alla cascata da quando sono piccola ed è un posto veramente meraviglioso, che merita! Ammetto che su internet non ci sono molte informazioni sulla strada e se non si conosce il posto può essere difficile trovarla. Sono qui per dare dei consigli su come si arriva alla cascata del Chenghen. Ci sono più punti da dove partire come per esempio Abbadia Lariana o il paesino di Crebbio. Io consiglio di paritre da Abbadia perchè è più facile trovare parcheggio rispetto a Crebbio, che invece, è un paesino molto più piccolo. Se si parte da abbadia lariana : - il percorso,(principalmente in salita) è di circa 1 ora e 30. - subito dopo Abbadia si può passare da un paesino di nome Linzanico, facile da riconoscere perchè è sulla strada e c’è una grande lavatoio. - da li si prende il sentiero sulla destra. La cascata è abbastanza segnalata fino alla fine del percorso. Se si parte da crebbio : - oltrepassare il paesino di Lombrino e procedere lungo la strada segnalata Consigli utili: - non partire troppo tardi, consiglio di partire o la mattina o il pomeriggio presto. - è un sentiero di montagna! Utilizzare scarpe comode e sporchevoli, in quanto sul sentiero, ci sono dei tratti in cui c’è fango. -sentiero escursionistico facile adatto a tutti. I admit that there isn't much information about the street on the internet and if you don't know the place it can be difficult to find it. I'm here to give some advice on how to get to Chenghen Waterfall. There are multiple points from which to start such as Abbadia Lariana or the village of Crebbio. I recommend starting from Abbadia because it is easier to find parking than Crebbio, which is a much smaller village. If you start from Abbadia Lariana: - the route (mainly uphill) takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. - immediately after Abbadia you can pass by a small village called Linzanico, easy to recognize because it is on the road and there is a large wash house. - from there take the path on the right. The waterfall is fairly signposted until the end of the route. If you leave from Crebbio: - pass the village of Lombrino and proceed along the signposted road Useful tips: - don't leave too late, I recommend leaving either in the morning or early in the afternoon. - it's a mountain path! Use comfortable and dirty shoes, as there are some sections on the path where there is mud. -easy hiking trail suitable for everyone. The best way I think is in Linzanico district. Park in parcheggio gratuito in Via della Constituzione, see the parking using Google Maps as it is not that precise on Waze. After parking, walk few steps down, and you will see the lavatoio, in Piazza Papa Giovanni XXIII, you will see the sign of the direction going up to Cascata del Cenghen, just follow the path of the signs and directions along the way. A good hiking experience for children aged 5 and up. We loved it! — family of 4 with 12 year old and 5 year old. 😉

Ero preoccupata di non riuscire ad arrivare, invece ho scoperto che il tragitto è pieno di indicazioni verso le cascate… IL PROBLEMA È TORNARE AL PUNTO DI PARTENZA!! Sono partita da Crebbio: credo che da qui il percorso sia più semplice, con meno dislivello - non a caso si trova più in alto del resto - ma chiarisco che non ho provato quello da Linzanico. Il problema è che sono rientrata ad ABBADIA LARIANA! Ho sbagliato una deviazione e il cellulare non prendeva.. Nessuna indicazione sul percorso del ritorno, che sarebbe stato altrettanto fattibile. Il tragitto da Crebbio ha solo alcuni tratti un po’ scoscesi, ripidi, con rocce, più “difficili” da affrontare in discesa che in salita. Spero che sistemino anche la situazione delle indicazioni del rientro. Nessuno che mi abbia aiutata ad Abbadia Lariana per riuscire a tornare a Crebbio, che ok, non è distantissimo, ma dopo una giornata a camminare, con i cani, ed una storta… È stato devastante. Sono stata malissimo: ho dovuto camminare sotto il sole, in salita, sull’asfalto.. Quindi ecco, cercate di ricordarvi le deviazioni corrette. La cascata è piccolina, ma carina. Si sta freschi, ma nel weekend si riempie di gente, quindi potrebbe essere difficile trovare un angolino rilassante. E ovviamente qualche problema di parcheggio alla partenza. Prendete in considerazione questi fattori.

If you're visiting the city of Lecco and around and have some time for hiking and want to enjoy your time and relax and get cooled off (especially during hot Summer days) don't miss this place!
