We had amazing time visiting alpacas a week ago. Our travel plans had changed due to the bad weather and owners of this place were kind enough to squeeze us in a last minute. It’s located on the hill with a beautiful view of the lake. Everyone was very friendly. We learned a lot about alpacas and had a great time interacting with them. First looking shy animals are not that shy after they see treats in your hand. Interesting to see how they all have different personalities. There were several kids during the visit and they just had a blast even though animals were twice of their size. Walking alpacas is completely another experience. It’s a great addition to the visit. On top of that, you get a little lucky souvenir at the end of the visit. Place is a must to see. It is also located near little cute town on the hill where you can enjoy local wine and meats that were delicious. We went to one that Canio recommended and we loved it. What an amazing experience! It is located on top of a hill overlooking a lake and you can reserve a table for picnic. There are 4 tables for 6-8 people each. You are surrounded by olive gardens, vineyards, orchards and friendly puppies. The tour takes less than 1 hour and the owners are very friendly and helpful explaining everything you want to know about the alpacas. You get assigned one alpaca for every couple and you can walk them, pet them, feed them and take as many pictures as you want. Ho avuto il piacere di visitare l'allevamento di Basilicata Alpaca e non posso che condividere la mia entusiastica esperienza. Sin dal nostro arrivo, siamo stati accolti con calore e gentilezza, il che ha subito reso l'atmosfera piacevole e rilassante. L'allevamento è situato in una cornice naturale splendida, perfetta per chi cerca un momento di tranquillità lontano dal caos cittadino. Gli alpaca sono animali meravigliosi: docili, curiosi e incredibilmente simpatici. È stato affascinante imparare di più su di loro, grazie alle spiegazioni dettagliate e appassionate dei proprietari, che hanno condiviso con noi tante curiosità sulla vita degli alpaca, la loro cura e la qualità della loro lana. Uno dei momenti più speciali è stato poter interagire direttamente con gli alpaca, dando loro da mangiare e accarezzandoli. La loro dolcezza e tranquillità hanno reso l'esperienza davvero unica. Questa visita è stata un regalo per la mia fidanzata, e vedere la sua felicità e il suo entusiasmo ha reso l'esperienza ancora più speciale per me. Condividere insieme questi momenti magici in mezzo alla natura e agli alpaca è stato davvero indimenticabile.
