We were moving from the south to the north coast that day. A nice and easy drive through the heart of Sicily. Funnily enough, in the middle of almost nowhere there is this Outlet!

It was summer and temperatures went way beyond 100°F. Not really any shade on the parking lot, so it doesn't matter where you leave your car...it will be boiling inside (be aware of that fact when it comes to leaving kids, pets ... or even freshly bought food in the car).

The Outlet itself has a beautiful setting. It really IS a village itself with countless lovely built stores in all colors.

There's also a good number of restaurants for every budget as well as bathrooms.

Some stores offers really good discounts, some on the other hand....not. So you really depend on two things: Luck and time. You either bring enough time to check out the offers or you just hope the best and get lucky. We thought the "Guess" and the "MK" store really did have good offers the time we visited.

Be sure to listen to the announcements over the speaker. On very short notice (minutes before) they will announce several times a day which store is up for an extra discount for the next 20-30 minutes. And then...run! Luckily we were just standing in front of the MK store when it got announced (20% extra off on handbags). People really will come running....and fight for the items. We got lucky....

So, it's a really cool place to grab some good stuff. Bring enough time (and money) to enjoy it fully. There are also several companies selling daytrips from many major towns in Sicily. Another good thing: Dogs are welcome here (just not IN the stores) and there's enough shade for your...

Me, my friend and our 3 children (15,15,16) come from Germany and are visiting Sicily. We came today on 3.4.2023 to the outlet to shop. I had 400€ (4 green Banknotes- 4 pieces 100€) in my wallet. As I paid with my friend in the store Sandro Ferrone Retail (15:00 o’clock), we were the only customers there. Unfortunately I left my wallet in the store and about 10 minutes later the info point called my name that they found my wallet. As I came (2 minutes later) to the info point in order to pick up my wallet, I opened it and the money was not there. My friend saw the money in the store in wallet just before I paid (with the credit card)- so the only way it has gone lost was either in the store or on the way to the info point. There are all over the stores the cameras but the lady at the info point told me, she can’t check the camera- only when I go to the police station. I am sure she can check on the cameras and try to figure out who took the money out of my wallet. I am very sad about this and hope there is any solution for...

Shopping in the dessert Fashion Village is a really nice place to stop by if you have kids. They have the best play ground in whole Sicily. Every time we have to drive from Palermo to Catania or back, this place is a must to tire our kids and relax for a second. The play ground can get really overcrowded some time, and Sicilian parents have a weird image of taking turns (first my kid, then the others), but once somebody is ready and able to talk back, they can even appear nice. The shopping centre itself is nice, I love the Camper shop and Lindt. You can definitely fine here bargains. Be aware of the bad food supply. I like the food at Sud Fun, although a bit stressful and expensive, but at least good. The other places, bars were only expensive, but not good. It was a real challenge to find ice-cream there in March. Sicily is the second important place for ice-cream in whole Italy, so it was ridiculous to walk around the whole village to find a huge queue for the only one ice-cream place there. Definitely more relaxing...
