Spiaggia Monti Russu — Attraction in Aglientu

Parking is not obvious, you have to guess at which layby to use and then find the short track which is, only highlighted by an unmarked metal gate. Even with reading reviews to get there it was tricky initially to find and then follow the track. The track is dusty and winds towards the sea. Kids or less surefooted people would need good footwear for the dusty slopes. Fantastic, sandy beach with plenty of room for lounging, free access, and free parking. The parking was along a forested area driving up to the beach. There were limited spots close to the beach, but there was space for everyone who didn’t mind walking a bit.

Una delle spiaggie più belle della gallura, ma come sempre piena di pecche. La prima il parcheggio: percorrendo il lungo sentiero sterrato si rischia di prendersi multe nei numerosi divieti di sosta, posti chirurgicamente dal comune di Aglientu per batter cassa. Guardando il mare, a destra si può raggiungere lo stabilimento e a sinistra, dopo il belvedere naturale, si segue una passerella di legno per arrivare alle calette e, in fondo al sentiero di sabbia immerso nella macchia, alla spiaggia nudista. Il paesaggio di rocce granitiche, in mezzo alla sabbia, e un mare cristallino sono la caratteristica principale di questa spiaggia. La spiaggia naturista non è ufficializzata dal comune e non si capisce perché, visto che i turisti, anche stranieri, la frequentano abitualmente, forse è meglio farli scappare con le multe... La macchia mediterranea é mozzafiato, ma il problema sta nei rifiuti, la plastica, ormai parte integrante dell'arenile, incrementata ogni anno, e il fumo, altro problema, dei fumatori in spiaggia con le loro cicche sparse, in modo incivile, ovunque. Chi dovrebbe sensibilizzare i bagnanti, sanzionare gli inquinatori, i fumatori? Lo sappiamo benissimo! E non basta mettere 2 bidoncini all'inizio...
