The landscapes are breathtaking, and well worth a visit and would deserve 5 stars. Prepare yourself well for hikings etc., since it can get very hot! But unfortunately, the information center is not as easy to find as they say. And when we finally found it, we also had a quite rude employee in the morning giving us information with bad attitude, while we were being polite all the way. That was a bit disappointing. When we came back from the tour later, there was a different manager there, who...

We bought the Alghero card which gave us entry to this park, Neptune's cave and other locations throughout Alghero. Quite good value for €20. You can use it multiple times too over days, weeks and months. The park is absolutely stunning. The paths are mostly marked clearly, we used Google maps at points just to make sure we were going the right way. Definitely take some water and snacks depending on how far you walk. But definitely worth...

A must-visit if you're nearby. The park boasts a wandering band of wild horses, as well as domesticated sheep, goats, cows... And cats! In addition to the fauna, the park contains a massive number of cork trees, as well as Myrtle bushes (used to make Mirto), and a number of historical structures. This park is huge, and best explored by bike, which you can borrow from the nice man at the front entrance of the park for a small donation.

You are rewarded with every step you take by the beautiful views and the park info boards. Great for a bicycle ride or a family sunny midday picnic. The culmination for me was seeing wild boar piglets next to one of the peaks. I overcame my fear of their mother and made it to the top for a fantastic panorama of Capo Caccia, Alghero and the surrounding golfs. The cliffs are amazing, full of bird life and history.
