Cala Petra Ruja — Attraction in Alzachèna/Arzachena

Arrived on 13th Sept, no signage where to go to the beach and parking costs a fortune. Private company SKG charges €20 for full day, and €3 per hour. We returned after 30 min as the beach was full of seaweed and asked for a refund offering to pay for 2 hours. Rude members of staff at the SKG car parking, angry at us that we dared to ask any questions. Don't visit, go Capriccioli or Spiaggia del Principe and pay €12.5 for full day. Beware, our locked car got broken into (it was a Fiat Punto) and they took everything from it while we were on the beach. They broke the driver’s side lock, and ripped open the trunk’s cover from inside. We parked by the walkway entrance to the beach. These guys were pros, searched the entire bag for traceable devices immediately and threw them In the bushes.

Spiaggia meravigliosa, un'oasi di tranquillità anche il giorno di ferragosto. Il parcheggio più vicino è a circa 1km a piedi e per raggiungere la spiaggia bisogna percorrere un breve tratto di strada dove a causa delle macchine in transito ci si impolvera un po'. La seconda e più lunga parte del percorso invece è chiusa al traffico e permette una piacevole passeggiata in lieve discesa con un panorama stupendo. Appena si arriva giù, c'è un primo accesso alla spiaggia, ma percorrendo ancora la strada per altri 200 metri si sbuca direttamente nel centro della baia, il posto migliore a mio giudizio per piantare tenda e ombrellone. Proseguendo ancora si finirebbe invece vicini al Nikki Beach, un locale iper opulento che lavora principalmente con i proprietari delle barche che ormeggiano di poco al largo e che pratica una politica di prezzi molto selettiva. Da una certa ora alzano il volume del Dj-set e l'area si popola di personaggi "camicia bianca & bermuda" che mal si conciliano con la bellezza della natura...
