Villa La Ripa — Attraction in Arezzo

Overpriced & poor value. I highly recommend instead: Casa Sola (Maria is absolutely fantastic as are the wines and tastings for a fraction of this price) and Vineria (same minus Maria :)

I booked this for my parents and I based on the positive reviews. This is obviously just my opinion but the private tour was two rooms, one of which included a coat rack and personal belongings of the owners (nothing remarkable) and a small praying room. it was a maximum of 20 minutes and more anecdotal and hypothetical than any meaningful historical facts; the wines smelled good but tasted bad - we are not sommeliers but know our wine and none of what we tasted would have sold for even half the price they were offered at....my father stopped tasting and simply poured out what he had because the first 3 were so bad; they couldn't answer basic questions about their wine-making process; instead we learned how the father's psychiatric patient offered to monitor their process for free for one year; and the tasting concluded with an attempt to also sell skin care products, truly bizarre...it felt scammish.

I hope others go and continue to enjoy but being totally honest do not recommend. They need to improve their delivery and what is offered for this price point and also be more accurate about the actual...

Visiting this winery was truly an unforgettable experience. The atmosphere was serene and idyllic, with a beautifully set table overlooking the vineyards — the perfect setting for a very special moment in our lives. Each wine was exceptional, and perfectly paired with the meal. One highlight was Psycho — a beautiful red blend and a heartfelt tribute by the owner to his patients. We had such a fabulous day with Valentina!! We enjoyed ourselves so much and learned so many things about truffles, wine and olive oil. She was very informative and knowledgeable about the property and background of the area. The wine was absolutely delicious and we were able to order a case to the USA with many varieties. We can’t wait to receive our wine when we return home!

The truffle hunt was a very unique and special experience. It’s like nothing we’ve ever seen before so it was exciting to learn about how the dogs are trained and their method to find the truffles!

We really appreciate her coordinating our visit especially on Christmas Eve!!  We had such a wonderful day!!
