Cantina Borgogno Francesco — Attraction in Barolo

Boutique family winery with superior quality and prices. We had 5 generous tasting pours, I think 4 were Barolos, all delicious, with increasing intensity and fullness. Their flagship is the Brunate, which I’m sure will sell very fast at 25 euro, it’s a steal (Castellero equally amazing and the entire tasting is 15 euro pp, cheese and salami included). This was an excellent wine experience. I was able to call last minute and get a visit for 10 people the day before. She fit us in the schedule and it was great. A very nice welcome from the owner who told us everything about the wine making process and who told us beautiful stories about the wineries history. We also got a tasting of all their wines combined with some meat, cheese and homemade hazelnut cookies and everything was delicious! We bought 6 bottles of wine but we should've bought more.
