WOW. We had an absolute ball here. Woukd definitely recommend, we drove an hour and were completely thrilled with our experience. Worth the trip if you’re in the area. Myself (19) and my younger brother (16) had a ball. My 50 year old parents also LOVED it. Waterpark: A massive water park with loads of slides suitable for all ages, as well as single slides and slides for 2-4 people at once. We visited the water park on Tuesday at 2-6pm in the middle of July and faced NO QUEUES at all!!! We bought our tickets online beforehand and walked straight through the turnstiles with no hassle. Would recommend the 2 massive pink and blue slides “Collossum” and “Titania” as well as their “drop slide”. We waited a maximum of 5 minutes for a slide and were always thrilled with the experience. BRING WATER SHOES!!! Flipflops/crocs were not allowed on the slides and the paths were extremely hot while walking through the park. They had a massive free swimming pool with music and shows / activities on hourly. Was very good to chill out and cool down. Park was extremely clean with lots of good staff and plenty of lifeguards. Themepark: We visited the theme park from 7.30pm-10:30pm on Tuesday evening in the middle of July. We thought this place was amazing. Had a few really good thriller rides which we all loved. Once again no queues and could easily make our way through the park. The park lit up with neon lights as it got dark and the place really came alive. If you’re in the area would 100% give Etnaland a visit. We drove an hour and were thrilled with our experience. Definitely worth the money and the price and would recommend to others.

Bad rating it's not about the place and the fun, it is about the way they behave. We left our 4 kids to enjoy the day and we had to return to Catania center, we return in the park and we asked how we can reached our kids first because the one needed to get a medicine on specific time during day and second because i wanted to explain to our kids thst we bought tickets for both parks so they should stay till evening. But the important thing was the medical issue. Our kids had cell phones but they have left them in lockers. We were -me and their father - in the main entrance of the park and I was asking for permitting to go inside(by leaving my passport, wallet, everything on cashier) go inside give the medicine and return outside. They refused. I asked for a supervisor, they never call one.. After a lot of pressure they said that the only thing and the more they could do was announcement from megaphones. They did it in Italian 🙁 we continue to argue with them about that announcement was much possible to not be heard from kids while playing around, and we say that was not possible to make the announcement in Italian, they repeated in English, kids as was more possible never heard, after that my husband said to them that it is unacceptable to do not let a month to go inside while leaving all her belonging to them to give the medicine and return and that we should call the police,as we did. They said from the very first moment that we could go int the park for the medical only by buying the ticket entrance (for go inside, find kid, giving the medicine and leave...) After we called the police, and after one hour of waiting, as was easy to understand we were extremely upset and worry. I had already send text messages to their phones and finally they arrived in the gate. We gave the medicine, and that time the police car arrived and they were also very upset about why they didn't let me go inside gor this specific reason.

It is a water park full of kids A water park where you have to leave your things in a locker,so there is no communication. And they refused to a mother to give medicine in her kid.

P.s. when our kids came to entrance, they took their bags with them because none explain them why they hear the name of one in megaphones, they also grt much worry about why the have to come to entrance so thry empty the locker, after we met them and explain that they will stay till night, they return to lockers area and the lady there asked them to pay again 5€ for new locker.... despite they explain to her what happened just few...

We only visited the aqua park but it was great. Make sure you plan the whole day as it's enormous and there's a lot to do. We went there in August so there were a lot of people but the queues moved surprisingly fast. Don't take anything sharp with you, including glass bottles. They really check the bags at the entrance. The staff is constantly keeping an eye out for the safety of the visitors.

Do take water shoes with you because the floor is slippery and burning hot. Water shoes you can wear to the attractions, slippers you have to remove (and then later go and get them at the beginning of the ride). For some rides I was able to take a gopro with me, for others I had to leave it at the beginning. They did make sure nothing happened to it while I was enjoying my ride.

The food is very reasonably priced for such a big tourist attraction. Of course you can take your own food with you but then you have to eat it in the designated picnic areas or in the locker room.

I do suggest renting a locker because it's a lot more fun and relaxed if you don't have to take your things with you and keep an eye on them. Especially if you don't go with a big group of people and all want to enjoy the rides at the same time. Some people had their phones and money in a waterproof bag around their neck but I don't know if you can enter the more intense rides with those, so I wouldn't count on that.

There are free dressing rooms and toilets. The showers are paid. Keep in mind that if you wait until the park is closing, then the queues get long very fast.

We really enjoyed the day at Etnaland. Especially the wave pool. Italians sure know...
