We visited the winery as part of a cooking course we took in Umbria, and we truly enjoyed the experience!
The estate itself is surrounded by greenery – a true Italian classic, and absolutely stunning in its beauty: the impressive tree-lined avenue at the entrance looked as if it had been taken straight out of a movie scene, the well-tended and dense rows of vines heavy with beautiful ripe grapes, the visitors’ center radiating rustic elegance from every corner, and the production facility itself – more clean than a laboratory.
Our guide was exceptionally friendly and welcoming, demonstrating impressive knowledge and great generosity. We had the chance to taste a variety of wines produced there – rosé, whites, and reds – all of which were nothing short of excellent. Naturally, we ended up purchasing a nice selection of bottles to continue the experience back home. We also discovered that the estate has a boutique hotel for guests, which sounds like a wonderful idea for our next visit to Italy.

We came for a quick wine tasting (scheduled in advance) and met Lamyae who expertly led us through the tasting at eye level and in such an approachable yet captivating way! I definitely recommend doing a tasting and having seen the beautiful property I would also do a tour in hindsight. Thank you so much for your hospitality 🙏🏻❤️ we can’t wait to open the wines...

Recentemente ho avuto il piacere di soggiornare in questo paradiso terrestre, e devo dire che è stata un'esperienza eccezionale sotto tutti i punti di vista. Fin dal momento del nostro arrivo, ci ha accolto Lamyae con professionalità e calore , sempre pronta a soddisfare ogni nostra richiesta con un sorriso.
Le camere sono spaziose, pulite e arredate con gusto, offrendo un'atmosfera accogliente e rilassante.
La colazione era ricca e varia, Maria vi coccolerà letteralmente cercando di farvi sentire a casa , e vi delizierà il risveglio con una vasta selezione di prodotti freschi e di alta qualitá.
Wine tasting davvero piacevole ed interessante .. spiegazioni di ogni vino degne di nota… bravissima Lamyae !
Concludendo : fattoria Colsanto ha superato le nostre aspettative, ed è stata la conferma che l’accoglienza e la professionalità del personale sono un valore aggiunto e non scontato che fanno la differenza!!
