Piscine Naturali di Bau Mela — Attraction in Biddamanna Istrisàili/Villagrande Strisaili

It was a wonderful day in the mountains, the pools are lovely and they are different depending on how far you go in. It is perfect for escaping the really hot sardinian summer. It is also perfect for diving enthusiasts. The pools are really deep we deduce about 7-10 meters. The „pools“ are nice, though in July/August there weren’t much water in them. Definitely not enough to go swimming, but enough to see how the water carved its path through the rocks and polished them on the way. This is not an organised tourist activity. We just parked somewhere on the road and found our way down to the pools. Pretty straightforward. Just a shame that so much garbage gets dumped around the area....

Luogo fantastico, dove la meraviglia della natura e della Sardegna non finisce mai di stupire e di farti sognare. Un posto ben curato e rispettato dove si possono trovare i sentieri ben gestiti per quanto possibile, le indicazioni per raggiungere le varie piscine naturali e un bosco che è un polmone verde della Sardegna dove si respira un aria unica, fresca con tutti i suoi profumi della macchia mediterranea. L’acqua delle piscine è ovviamente molto fredda, bisogna prestare molta attenzione per raggiungere le piscine più grandi e quelle con la cascata, ma una volta raggiunte non si può resistere e un bel bagno rigenerante è inevitabile! Immersi tra la natura e il fascino di un luogo e un panorama mozzafiato. Complimenti a tutti quelli che se ne prendono cura e si dedicano alla manutenzione di tutta l’area. Le prime piscine del fiume, quelle a destra prima dell’inizio del sentiero, sono più comode e più consigliate per chi non è molto pratico e agile, oppure vuole portare dei bambini. C’è un po’ di sabbia e alcune zone con l’acqua bassa, delle rocce più adatte se si vuole prendere il sole o rilassarsi davanti agli specchi d’acqua. Anche fare un bel bagno è più facile e l’acqua è meno fredda. Luogo assolutamente da visitare...
