An old villa dating back to the 12th century. While the villa itself is pretty it is the park that one would visit Villa Vardanfor. The park is bordered by the Livenza River and is full of tall trees with large canopies the provide shaded walks along the parks many paths through the property. If you are quite, careful and paying close attention you might even catch a glimpse of the European Red Squirrels that have made their homes there. There is a small pond full of turtles as well. The buildings, by comparison to the park are not as well maintained. It would be nice to see them fully restored and allow visitors to walk through them. Read moreThis is such a lovely public park! It’s quite large, so you can discover new areas across several different visits. There is a lovely cafe with a wide variety of food options. I haven’t tried their brunch, lunch, or dinner menus yet but they look amazing! I have only stopped by for snacks so far. There is a nice playground with work out equipment nearby. We especially loved the pond with friendly turtles and the library where you can bring and take books...
