An incredible place. If you are in the area you should definitely visit this. A must for anyone that loves orchids. They built an entire indoor jungle, with dozens over dozens of different orchids and other plants. They do have a small indoor parkour for kids. The best thing in my opinion were the birds they do have. They feed them twice a day and it is worth it because you yourself can hand feed them. They do have some varieties of orchids for you to buy at the end, but I guess it really depends on which ones are blooming right now, which I find sad, they had some amazing ones that were not in bloom that I would have liked to buy. I visited mid-September to see the orchid garden. There were quite a few orchids flowering, but it was clear the majority of the plants flowered earlier in the year. It was not very busy and we had the greenhouse almost to ourselves. There's a lovely shopping area where you can buy flowering orchids of many different types, not the usual supermarket stuff. Ich war mit meinen Kindern schon zwei Mal dort. Diesmal hab ich mir den Eintritt "gespart" weil ich mich über die überteuerten Eintrittspreise geärgert habe. Obwohl ich als Mutter mit meinen zwei Kindern (9+17) da war, zählen wir nicht als "kleine Familie" und man hätte somit 2 Tickets für Erwachsene und ein Kind kaufen müssen. Das kostet 30€ (in 60min - höchstens 90 min. hat man längst alles gesehen) und für das was geboten wird ist der Preis m. Meinung nicht gerechtfertigt! Später wollte mein Mann in der Bar am Tresen einen Caffè bestellen und Eis für die Kinder. Die Bardame warf ihm einen bösen Blick zu - schnappte sich von einem Tisch ein Schild auf dem stand "Bitte bestellen Sie am Tisch, sie werden bedient" - oder so ähnlich. Jedenfalls hielt die Bardame es für nötig und streckte dieses Schild meinem Mann dann noch direkt vors Gesicht!!Mein Mann ist dann sofort gegangen - ohne Caffè, versteht sich!! Man wird schließlich nicht gern wie ein Verbrecher behandelt! Ein unmögliches - unhöfliches Benehmen - selbst wenn viel zu tun ist - so behandelt man keinen Gast und wer das tut - hat den Beruf verfehlt!!! Und außerdem konnte mein Mann nicht wissen, dass man" nur am Tisch bestellen darf!!!!!!" Wir sind dort NICHT Stammgäste und werden dieses Lokal als Dank NIE WIEDER BETRETEN!
