Black pebbles and a small beach in a bay that you have to climb into for 15-20 minutes or do you have to walk with sturdy shoes? It's so worth it. Wonderful water, a few colorful fish and a beach that you almost have to yourself.
It's wonderful and the only people there are the people from the boats and motor yachts that are anchored in the bay during the day.
How do you get to this beach that is so often confused with Spiaggia le tombe? You just walk up the coastal road to the sign for Punts le Tombe (path no. 173) and then just go down the narrow path, which at some point makes a small bend to the right and then you have to climb a bit, which children can do easily create.
The most difficult part is climbing over the stones on the bank. It works best with sturdy shoes. Flip flops work too, it's more painful because the feet are not as protected. Everything climbing over hill and dale is really worth it.
We were there with #Bigfoot and #Littlefeet and had a lot of fun. tip: there is no natural shade there, even though the coast is steep behind you.
Be sure to take a parasol with you and a hat or cap so you don't get sunburnt. A so-called beach shelter as sun protection also makes sense, but then it has to be secured with stones due to the wind.
Please bring your own food and drinks and take your own rubbish with you. You can get to the beach from bed by scooter or car (near the sign for path no. 173). There is a free parking lot for about 10 cars.
Unfortunately, buses or similar don't stop there. That's why it's still more of an insider tip. We highly...
Read moreLonely and hidden beach, it is difficult to reach and I would recommend solid footwear as the path to the beach is hardly easy going. The beach itself is big and there is more then enough space for anyone. Bringing your own umbrella is a must and snorkeling gear is also a good idea! We saw some jellyfish but there is enough space to avoid them and they are also easliy visible...
