CANTINA LA FRASSINA — Attraction in Caorle

My Boyfriend and I visited La Frassina today, and we had a wonderful experience. Fillipo was incredibly friendly and approachable. He explained everything thoroughly and demonstrated extensive knowledge in his field. The tour itself was very interesting, offering a lot of insights and learning opportunities.

During the wine tasting, we had the chance to sample several wines and directly compare different vintages of the same wine. It was fascinating to taste the differences. We have great respect for his great-grandfather's legacy!

We ended up purchasing a few bottles, with prices for the younger wines ranging from €7.50 to €9.00 per bottle.

We will definitely return on our next visit to Italy to buy more wine.

Allora, iniziamo dalle note positive (assolutamente soggettive): Location incantevole, filari e filari di vitigni che si perdono a vista d'occhio, un luogo che ti fa sentire escluso dal resto del mondo, una struttura ben fatta e molto moderna, ottimo, meritevole, incantevole. Siamo arrivati e appena scesi dalla macchina siamo stati accolti da Mattia, il nipote, gentilissimo che ci ha lasciato piena libertà di girare ad osservare in attesa del resto del gruppo per iniziare il "giro" e degustazione a seguito. Siamo rimasti poi ad attendere "gli altri" in un'ambiente molto famigliare sotto un capanno, seduti su "poltrone" di fieno. Nel frattempo abbiamo conosciuto Lucia, cordiale e pronta a metterci a nostro agio..fino a quel punto però..! Arrivata la carovana (10 persone) pronta ad iniziare la visita guidata (eravamo l'unica coppia italiana), abbiamo iniziato il tour e..... "Capite l'inglese?" "Io si, la mia compagna un po' meno" "Ah ok, vedrò di tradurre.." "Ok grazie!" ..morale..per fortuna che Mattia ci ha seguiti e siamo riusciti ad interagire con lui e fargli un sacco di domande, ci siamo sentiti un po' 'messi da parte' perché non eravamo in grado di capire tutto dalla lingua inglese, peccato ma avrei voluto molto avere più "intimità, di empatia" per conoscere la storia del loro lavoro, dalla nascita dell'azienda ai giorni nostri. Mi è parso tutto frettoloso e un poco superficiale. Finita la visita passiamo alla degustazione. Assolutamente nulla da obiettare riguardo la qualità dei prodotti, 7 degustazioni tutte meritevoli ma anche lì..quanta attenzione per gli stranieri e poco interesse per noi..mha..bho.. Sinceramente la cosa ci ha infastidito un po'.. Come detto la degustazione comprendeva 7 tipi di vino ma......... due crackers? due tarallucci? una bottiglietta d'acqua? ..non pervenute. Consiglio queste piccole attenzioni che avrebbero dato un sapore diverso a questa esperienza. Ho messo 3 stelle proprio per questi motivi, per com'erano iniziate le cose, le nostre aspettative erano un po' più "coccolose". Grazie per quanto offerto, che possano le critiche (personali) essere assolutamente...

Lucia is a wonderful lady . It was a great experience to see a family farm and how it evolved over the generations. A wine named after her Mum is very nice ! She was so accommodating. My husband emailed about a tour the night before and we were there at 10:30 the next morning . Tours also happen at 4:30 . Lucia has excellent English . A really worthwhile morning and the wines are divine . We wish we weren't flying home as I'd have bought a few of boxes !! Did buy some bottles, though, and will be putting them in my luggage!! Would highly recommend...
