Inghiottitoio fiume Bussento — Attraction in Caselle in Pittari

The place is spectacular, vegetation down there as well. For me it's worth the effort. There's a sign at the beginning that the track is closed, but it's probably another track passing there. It was easy, just a bit slippery at the bottom. With wet weather it's probably not that nice. At the beginning there's a view point that already shows what it is, without the down and up. Discesa al fiume Bussento (in realtà appena un torrente in quel tratto) di 15/20 minuti per sentiero a gradoni, non marcato ma chiaramente riconoscibile. Un po' malandato sul tratto finale, meglio andare con scarponcini. Dal fondo del sentiero in 10 min, saltando da un masso all'altro si arriva alla grotta in cui entra il placido torrente ("inghiottitoio"), esplorata fin dove è possibile senza bagnarsi i piedi. Das sogenannte Schluckloch des Bussento Flusses befindet sich am Fuße eines steilen Weges, den aber jeder gehen kann, der trittsicher ist. Leider verfällt alles und die Hinweistafeln und Geländer modern vor sich hin. Am Eingang der Grotte kann man mit einer Taschenlampe weiter in den Tunnel vordringen.
