Very nice waterpark in Cassino, nice to have something that isn’t just an olympic swimmimg pool.
Its located pretty close to the city, so getting there if you’re staying in a hotel isn’t too difficult. Walking is also an option but the sidewalk is rather narrow and not too high so it’s a little unsafe.
Plenty of parking, and the entrance is not too big, but does the job. At the entrance usually you’ll need to wait 1-4 minutes but it’s always a short wait. There is also another entrance to the olympic swimming pool, but in the summer that entrance does not grant you access to the water park.
The slides are nice, and the water is clean. There is always space and beds near the pool, and the staff are super nice and friendly. Most staff are just 15-20 year olds so they’re very “relatable”, in a way.
The bar is also very modern, and the catalog is nice. However some prices are a bit exaggerated, so a packed lunch is recommended. Plenty of benches outside the bar mean you’ll always have somewhere to eat.
The changing rooms and toilets are very well kept, and always clean. There’s plenty of toilets around the grounds, and also disabled toilets.
They also have some astroturf football fields, which are roofed and are open to the public. However there’s also real grass and seating around the park too.
Hawaii park does have it’s own summer campus, where you pay only for the days you attend and you get to have football competitions. Some external campuses like “Oratorio Don Bosco” also visit Hawaii park during the week (in 2023 it was Tuesday and Thursday), and they use the astroturfs and benches too.
The only real flaw is that after around an hour you run out of slides to do, so I recommend taking your time and not rushing everything, or you’ll find yourself doing nothing for the rest of the day and wasting your money.

Read moreWe visited on 21st Aug and we were staying around the Formia area so this was one of the nearest water parks for us. We have visited lots of water parks around the world and some of the best being in Florida. We wanted lots of slides and a lazy river, but looking at all the websites for the water parks near to where we were staying, we could see that they all were not like that, and no lazy rivers in any of the parks near us. We read the reviews and decided on this one as the reviews were of a high standard. We didn't have to pre book, and it was a reasonable price. there were lockers by the entrance, though not too many, but we were okay. The water park was very clean and well kept and the water was clear, clean and very refreshing from the hot sun. There weren't too many rides in comparison to what we have been used to in the past, but enough of a variety and kept our 15yo and 13yo busy all day. The other reviews are correct, and the slides and pools close at 1 to 2 pm for lunch. If you know this before going, then it's not a shock as this doesn't normally happen in water parks. However, saying that it gave us an hour to get out of the sun and eat lunch. You can bring your own packed lunch, and there are plenty of seating areas around the park. You can also purchase food there and again I would say reasonable price and of good quality for a water park. There are self-service food machines and information in a range of languages, you then take the receipt/ticket to collect your food. I would recommend arriving to the food hall 10 minutes before 1pm to miss the long queues at 1pm. The main pool has dancing, singing, waves, and splashing by everyone in time to some well-known Italian songs was great fun. On whole a great day out...
Read moreNice and quiet waterpark but we arrived at 12:30 noon and after we paid and entered to our surprise everything inside was shut down until 14:00 since the "staff is on a break". No water slides, no swimming pool, nothing. We just have to sit and wait for the staff to return to work. We wouldn't have arrived to begin with if we knew this is the case. Bizarre! 🤦♂️
Edit following the reply I received that claimed that the "half-day rate starts from 1.30 pm and is specified in the regulations and everywhere on our website". I re-visited the website and nowhere does it say that all the water facilities will be shut down for over an hour. All it says is that the place is open every day from 9:00-18:00 (https://hawaiipark.it/tariffe-ed-orari/). There's no reason to assume that just because there's a half day rate (which the staff did not mention at all when we purchased our tickets) it means we can't use any water facilities inside until the staff's lunch break is over. I've been to many water parks in the world and in Italy - this is the first time I've encountered this strange practice. May I suggest you allocate different shift times so that while some are on a lunch break others allow guests to continue using the facilities... That's probably how every other water park in the...
