CASA BENNA Vini — Attraction in Castell'Arquato

Our group of four went to that amazing winery just beside the beautiful medieval village of Castell’Arquato . We were welcome by Andrea as soon as we arrived . He told us about the history of the vineyard and explained us in details the different grapes and wine making process. It was very interesting , good English also. We did the wine tasting in a beautiful room on the second floor , he gave us tasteful prosciutto and other cold cuts from the region that paired very well with the different wines . Auf der Durchreise in die "weinarme" Lunigiana haben wir einen Abstecher hierher gemacht, a) um die Weine von Casa Benna kennen zu lernen, und b) um uns mit Wein für die Ferien in der Lunigiana und in den Apuanischen Alpen, und letztlich dann auch wieder für zu Hause nördlich der Alpen zu versorgen. Wir hatten aus dem Angebot "Visite in Cantina" die "Offerta premium" gebucht und wurden von Andrea Molinari und seinen vierbeinigen Mitarbeitern freundlich empfangen. Andrea informierte sichtlich mit Herzblut über die Gegebenheiten vor Ort und die Weinerzeugung, aber auch über die Namensgebung der Weine. Wir erhielten Gelegenheit, die Betriebsräume anzusehen und zu dem im Angebot enthaltenen Vesper sämtliche Weine zu verkosten.
