We had an amazing, fun experience at Bindi Sergardi. We did not have plans to go wine tasting that day, but as it turned out the train from Florence to Venice was delayed by several hours. It takes 3 hours by train to get to Venice and it was already getting late. Instead, we decided to do wine tasting. I searched for wineries close to where we were staying in Tuscany and found Bindi Sergardi. So we drive there (beautiful, breathtaking sceneries, by the way), and of course we do not have reservations, but Lorena and Chiara were very hospitable and accommodating. First they prepared a table for us, then they served a beautiful platter of bread, cheese, proscuitto, crackers, honey, Olive oil accompanied by a glass of white wine. After the white wine we were served with four red wines. As each red wine was served, Lorena took her time in explaining each wine, the Chianti and how the grapes are cultivated. She also told the history of the Bindi Sergardi family and took us on a tour. The place is beautiful, the wine was very good, delicious, the hospitality was so inviting and the scenaries were breathtaking. By the way reservations recommended. I say that because as it turned out at the time we showed up they did not have too many people there so they were able to accomodate us, but soon after the wine and the tour, people started showing up. I'm going back to Tuscany and I will make sure to make reservations the next time. To rate this place as a five is not enough, it was a 10 experience. Thank you for your kindness, hospitality and being so...
Read moreBindi Sergardi Winery is nothing short of breathtaking both in its history and in the way it treats its guests. We had overestimated our travel time and arrived a full hour early (we were more then willing to wait in our vehicle, until our time), yet instead of being turned away or asked to wait, Lorena and Sarah graciously welcomed us right at our car. They effortlessly worked us in early and made us feel as though we were the only people on their schedule that day.
The landscape is rich and rolling, every bit the Tuscan dream you hope it will be, and the history of the estate is woven into the experience in a way that makes you feel part of something much larger. What struck me most was that there’s no sense of rush here. Each tasting feels private, personal, and tailored to the individual something that is rare and deeply appreciated. Another bonus, a thoughtful part of the experience (and the only place in all our holidays where we were asked) by Sarah and Lorena several times if we wanted our photo taken together.
At the end of our visit, Lorena was especially helpful in walking us through pricing and shipping options to send wine back home to the States. Her patience and kindness made the process seamless.
Bindi Sergardi has easily earned a permanent spot on my list of wonderful places to return to and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic, heartfelt winery experience in Tuscany. You are not rushed through nor are you just another booking. Thank you greatly Sarah and Lorena +(Miss Syrah) for the...

Visiting a winery in Tuscany has been a lifelong dream of mine, and I truly couldn’t have imagined a more perfect experience than the one I had at Bindi Sergardi – Tenuta Mocenni. From the moment we arrived, it felt like stepping into a postcard—rolling hills, centuries-old vines, and a sense of history and beauty that you can feel in the air.
The estate itself is absolutely stunning. Nestled in the heart of Chianti, the views stretch endlessly across vineyards and olive groves. The combination of natural beauty and the timeless elegance of the property made every moment feel magical.
The wines? Phenomenal. Each one told a story—bold, expressive, and full of the character you only find in Tuscan soil.
But what truly made the visit unforgettable was Alana. Her knowledge, warmth, and passion for wine were absolutely inspiring. She guided us through the tasting with such depth and clarity, sharing not just technical details, but the heart and history behind the wines and the estate. Her storytelling brought everything to life, and we walked away feeling more connected to the place...
