Our family lives in Winnipeg, where the founder Louis Tolaini moved to from Italy and started a trucking and logistics business, which became one of the largest in the Canada. So it was a special stop for us. We were met by our guide, Marcus, who made us feel very welcome before taking us on a tour and explaining the process of making the wine, along with many innovative details of the refurbishment of the building and harvesting of grapes. We are familiar with several of the Tolaini wines offered in Winnipeg, but were very impressed with wines and vintages we had not tasted. The Estate is beautiful and the experience well worth it for anyone travelling south of Florence. We highly recommend it. You will not be...

Stumbled upon this place and surprised to see the Canadian flag outside! Turns out the owner lived in Canada for 40 years before coming back to his home country to make amazing wine! The staff was very welcoming and friendly, and managed to seat us early even though another function was just ending. We did the tasting which was around 14 euros and included 5 different wines along with a plate of cheese and salami (with bread). The olive oil at the table is grown there too and tasted great. Throughout the tasting we got great commentary for each wine for its back story. Looks like it would be a great venue for a...

My husband and I visited this incredible winery in May 2017. The property is gorgeous with so many stunning views and cool artistic details. The people were so friendly and knowledgeable and the wines were fantastic! The wine is crafted in the old world style and truly outstanding. I loved seeing the vineyards, fermentation tanks, aging barrels, the gorgeous tasting room and bottling machinery. It was a fun tour, I learned a lot about wine making and the tasting was done professionally by the great staff who were willing to answer my questions in a way that was easy to understand. I can hardly wait to...

We drove up on our bikes without reservation and were greeted enthusiastically by the tour guide. Apparently a tour had just started and we arrived just in time to join. The guide, a local sommelier, was knowledgeable and told us about the history of Chianti, the vineyard, the variety of grapes and the wine making process (which is ecological and carbon neutral). This place has great wines and is highly regarded in the region. We ordered some wine to be shipped home and were guided professionally by the staff. Thank you for the amazing experience and being so open and welcoming!

The highlight of our time in Tuscany! We were warmly greeted by our enthusiastic and knowledgeable tasting guide Rossella (despite arriving during off-season with no one else there). Two of us knew Tolaini wines and two of us knew not much at all! Rossella patiently and expertly guided us through six of their incredible wines, telling us as much about the history of the winery and the family as about the making of these wines. A truly wonderful experience that we can’t recommend more highly!
