Worst Golf experience I have ever had and I am not even downplaying. Way too expensive for what it is. All fairways are half flooded so when you hit a shot you get splashed by a lot of water. Fairways in general were decent on the front nine and not real fairways on the back nine. Tee boxes on the back nine were horrendous. Carts were extremely slow and because you are not allowed to drive on fairways or rough it, playing the whole 18 takes a lot of time. And in our case you get told on the 16th hole you have to abandon the round because they are closing and then get stressed and heckled. And even then instead of being nice and polite about it we got insulted and disrespected by the front lady which cursed at us and insulted us by saying it’s our fault and we are quoted “shit golfers” and then threatened us that they should have taken pictures of our passports to not let us in, not even should have let us in in the first place, and told us they should call the police because we are insulting when we just said do not talk to us that way. So all in all the worst experience with absolutely nothing good to say about that place: way to expensive for what it is by paying 120€ for one person and a cart, very disrespectful staff at the front office, the caddymaster and the lady at the cafe and last but not least a golf course which is maintained absolutely horrendous where no divots were fixed on the green, massive fairway divots that looked like they were hit last year and terrible general conditions of the fairway. Overall a fun course. That being said, the conditions were mediocre to poor - the greens had been recently punched and nobody mentioned that, the fairways were wet enough that 4 drives plugged (and it hadn't rained in days, twice i couldnt find the ball at all and had to drop after hitting one in the center of a fairway), and there were mowers and aerators out on the course while I was playing in the middle of the day. There were several holes where I had to wait for a groundskeeper to get out of the way before I could hit a tee shot. There's also one tee box that's literally on the driving range and I tee'd off with about 10 range balls scattered around me on the tee box, which isn't acceptable in my opinion.

Playing from the tips here, it's more of a 220-250 yard shot off the tee than a driver, and I think there were only about 3 holes where driver was really beneficial for me.

The design of the course was a high point, there were lots of memorable holes. I'd say for the price, I expected better, but it's a fun and well designed course for the most part. With a bit more investment and a bit more care from the staff, it could be a...

Das ist nun unser 3. gespielter Golfplatz am Gardasee und auf dem selbigen Platz ist er auch in unserem aktuellen Ranking.

Der Platz ist eigentlich recht gut gepflegt, scheint aber früher mal ein anderes Layout gehabt zu haben und wurde dann irgendwie auf 18 Loch erweitert was sich doch bemerkbar macht.

Die Pflege des Platzes ist gut, lediglich die Abschläge könnten besser sein. Fairways und Grüns sind gut, wobei einige Fairways etwas zu nass waren obwohl es nicht geregnet hatte.

Die Anlage und Lage aber sind in Summe nicht so schön. Erstens liegt sie direkt an der Autobahn, an der auch noch eine Baustelle ist, das bedeutet Lärm und da hier wohl auch die Kanalisation gemacht wird auch ordentlich Geruch. Zweitens sind die Bahnen recht chaotisch angelegt und benötigen oft und sehr lange Ziehwege. Wenn man das läuft ist man sehr lange unterwegs.

Wir hatten zwar ein Cart, aber das kann man sich auch sparen da man damit nicht auf dem Fairway fahren darf, sondern nur auf den markierten Wegen. Das ist in sofern ziemlich nervig da man dann doch auch mal längere Wege zu seinem Ball braucht, nicht weiß welchen Schläger man benötigt und so hin und her läuft oder doch gleich das halbe Besteck mitnimmt.

Das Cart war OK, nix dolles aber auch nicht völlig runtergerockt. Das GPS bzw. die Karte zeigte die Löcher / Bahnen, aber nicht den Weg zum nächsten Loch.

Einige Doglegbahnen kann man als Longhitter auch gut abkürzen. Das war es dann aber auch schon. Das Ambiente des Platzes war dann eher (Unter-) Durchschnitt

Auf dem Golfplatz befinden sich div. Hotels und Ressorts, und hin und wieder läuft dann auch ein Nicht-Golfer auf dem Platz herum, bzw. man kann den anderen Gästen beim Baden und Sonnen zusehen.

Die irgendwo erwähnten Ratten sind Bisamratten die es so gut wie überall gibt wo Wasser ist. Diese sind aber harmloser Pflanzenfresser und auf diesem Platz nicht wirklich scheu.

Auf der Drivingrange sind nur Mattenabschläge erlaubt. Die Chip und Put Area ist aber gut gepflegt.
